In this episode, I chat with my friend and self-taught Vegan Chef, Anita Turner. I met Anita at work and was curious why she always ate salads for breakfast? I asked her and soon became amazed at her story.  Think you can't change what you eat? Listen to how Anita changed her mom's life when she was 83 YEARS OLD!!! After that, she began improving the rest of her family's life, listen and learn. 

According to the CDC:
*The prevalence of obesity was 42.4% in 2017~2018.
*Obesity-related conditions include heart disease, stroke, type 2 diabetes and certain types of cancer that are some of the leading causes of preventable, premature death.
*The estimated annual medical cost of obesity in the United States was $147 billion in 2008 US dollars; the medical cost for people who have obesity was $1,429 higher than those of normal weight.
